DBPR HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION STUDY
The 2006 Florida Legislature passed a bill on homeowner and
condominium association laws later vetoed by Gov. Bush. But the
governor directed the Department of Business and Professional
Regulation to conduct an interim study on existing problems as a
basis for possible law changes, and DBPR sent out a request for public
comments. Links and information have been posted on Planet Realtor at

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW.
And you might have the answer. In a recent EarlyBird query, we asked
members to tell us what questions new Realtors ask most frequently.
We received lots of questions, and now we'd like your answers. Here
goes:
1. What are all the costs associated with being a new real estate associate?
That would include board and fees, lock box costs, and variables,
such as gas and car expenses.
2. How much money should a rookie Realtor have in reserve for the first
six months?
3. What equipment should every sales associate have from Day 1?
Send your answers to Peggym@far.org. And thanks!
